We are supporting a federal client for an immediate need with specific skills outlined below, followed by generic skills.  MUST be a US citizen.  US Veteran status preferred. 

 

We are looking for a Senior programmer with VistA Applications experience fill a position Murphreesboro, TN for Tier 3 support.  Revised information we have on the needs of this position are:

 

Senior Programmer –

 

·        Primary need -  CSP

 

·        Secondary needs – Javascript / ASP.net

 

·        Experience with MUMPS is a plus

 

Additional explanation:

 

1.      It is highly desirable that they have some web-programming experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSP, but something like ASP.Net experience could be substituted.

 

2.      Read and write MUMPS code, but also have Vista experience with Kernel Security, Menu System, Vista patching, KIDS, etc,

 

3.      We need somebody with good communication skills who can talk to customers about the implications of the removal of class 3 modifications from their systems and talk to national and regional developers about this as well.

 

 

 

The rest of the Tier 3 GENERIC requirements per the contract are below:

 

 5.2.2 TIER 3 SUPPORT

 

The Contractor shall provide on-site expert technical and security support services and resolve the most difficult or advanced problems. The Contractor shall:

 

A. Provide network infrastructure support

 

1. Assist both Tier I and Tier II personnel resolving vulnerability issues on Network Systems (Routers, Switches, etc.)

 

2. Resolve network equipment vulnerability issues as outlined by the Regional Director or designee and test solution implemented.

 

3. Work with VA staff on Baseline compliance in all Regional Network equipment.

 

4. Continuously remediate security deficiencies on VA’s network infrastructure as identified in the VA NSOC’s Nessus scans.

 

5. Ensure Cisco Certification (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expect (CCIE)) is up to date and current

 

 

 

B. Provide Windows and Linux Systems support:

 

1. Remotely assist both Tier 1 and Tier II personnel in resolving vulnerability issues on Servers and Workstations Systems.

 

2. Resolve and test Server and Desktop vulnerability patching issues for each Month’s Microsoft Security Patch Change Orders.

 

3. Ensure Servers and workstations systems conform to VA Baselines.

 

4. Remediate and test solution implemented on specific vulnerabilities as directed by the Regional Director or Designee

 

5. Continuously remediate and test solution implemented on security deficiencies on VA’s network infrastructure, database platforms, and Web application servers as identified in the VA NSOC’s Nessus scans.

 

6. Ensure Certifications are up to date and current

 

 

 

C. Use Nessus, SCCM, SCOM, and SQL reports and product logs to review and locate workstations and servers with inventory, deployment, patching, or other issues, then use provided scripts, tools, and vendor products to troubleshoot and resolve the issues and verity resolution.
