Rust Engineer, DeFi…

Our client is a proprietary trading firm based in Asian and NYC with a focus on trading a broad range of digital assets globally and utilizing a variety of quantitative strategies. They are looking for a Rust Engineer to join their digital assets teams. As a Rust Engineer,

You will:

• Research and develop algorithmic trading infrastructure (e.g. low-latency mempools) for the Firm.
• Develop infrastructure/data pipeline to collect and normalize on-chain data (i.e Mempool pending transactions).
• Analyze, research, and model on-chain data to extrapolate insights for strategy development
• Work with traders, researchers, and developers to improve and expand the Firm's DeFi infrastructure to capture alpha opportunities
• Monitor both internal trading activity and public blockchain data in real time

You bring:

• Expertise with EVM chain's full-node, mempool, pending transactions, runtime logic, gas estimate, and best DevOps practices while interfacing with DeFi protocols
• Understanding of Ethereum and smart contracts. Understanding of other L1 blockchains is a plus
• Developing apps that interface with Ethereum smart contracts. Solidity experience is a plus, but not required
• Fundamentals of CS (OOP, data structures and algorithms, networking, databases)
• Working knowledge of Python, Golang, C++, Java, Rust, Solidity, Javascript
• Experience / knowledge of algorithmic trading is a plus but not required
