    The Core Platform team within Apple's Core OS organization is looking for a hardworking and inspired manager to lead the Software team that understands the Hardware. The team is responsible for all phases of Software delivery from silicon conception until ramp to mass production to support a range of hardware platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Macs, AppleWatch, and AppleTV. You will work with the SoC design team to help define features of new silicon, be responsible for the SecureROM and secure boot architecture and delivery as well as bring-up of all new ARM based silicon and the development of new technologies. You will review the design and bring-up of all new Apple hardware (iPhone/iPad/Macs/AppleWatch/AppleTV, and more), deliver platform device drivers, and help debug and solve problems from prototype to production. This is a highly multi-functional and visible role, and you will be directly involved in decisions that affect every future Apple device. The position requires a very technical and hands-on leader, experience in working closely with silicon and hardware teams, and a deep understanding of bare metal software. You are a highly self-motivated individual who creates a dynamic and creative team environment in which problems are solved in new and innovative ways.
