Title: JavaScript/NodeJS/Angular
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 9-12 months renewable contract
Responsibilities:
The ideal skill set for this Full Stack developer includes an extensive knowledge of Node JS (3+ years), JavaScript (3+ years), Angular (3+ years) and integration experience with a third-party vendor. Experience with AWS (ECS, APIG and SQS/Kinesis) is a plus.
Design and Development of Services
Breakdown tickets to onshore or offshore team members. Appling the principles of engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing and evaluation of components.
Assisting team members and stakeholders in the understanding the big picture regarding development tasks.
Review the pull requests and provide suggestions and guidance
Perform peer code reviews.
Help in the deployment of any tasks.
Work with engineering operations in a devops capacity. Run diagnostics, repair defects and provide technical support.
Work with QA to ensure they write all test cases. Documenting processes including MongoDB schema.
Assure that the code coverage is 90% and above. Ability to take a detailed approach in order to ensure maximum use case coverage, error handling and exception scenarios. Must be detail oriented when needed in order to ensure maximum use case coverage, error handling, and exception scenarios.
Ability to work independently on assigned development tasks while excepting external prioritizations
Fearless, but mindful of refactoring. Must have a passion for coding
Ability to independently identify necessary coding tasks and work with project managers to schedule them within sprints
Provide level-of-effort estimates for epics and development tasks during project and sprint planning
Ability to Recommend new technologies; showcase new technologies to the rest of the technology team
Working with the Customers
Able to interface effectively with enterprise customers
Ability to represent as an ambassador when traveling to client sites
Able to lead small teams during customer project implementations
