Junior Software Engineer

Junior Software Engineer Requirements
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a passion for solving business problems through a combination of technology, data architecture and automation. A successful candidate is someone who likes to challenge themselves and obsesses over quality and the customer experience. Strong critical thinking skills are a must, as well as a desire to solve complex problems that improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include enhancing our internally developed Ruby on Rails platform, collaborating with team members to design and implement data driven process flow and database data architecture and table changes. The Junior Software Engineer will also help plan deliverables and execute on the approved plans.
Qualifications
3-5 years of software development.
3 years’ experience with Ruby on Rails
Excel at reading/writing SQL scripts and working with relational databases.
Experience with Python, Git
Experience with data stored in flat files.
Comfortable operating within a Linux/Postgres environment.
Other Desirable Qualifications
Experience working within the healthcare industry.
Ability to work with external APIs.
Knowledge of PHP and/or Perl
Knowledge of Jira
Preferred Personal Skill Base
Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and high attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $900,000.00 - $950,000.00 per year
