They are looking to hire a full-stack Ruby on Rails Developer to take ownership of one of their most popular websites. This team is collaborative, innovative, and has a great sense of humor!
Qualifications…
- 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Full stack development experience (React on the front end is preferred)
- Experience with and ability to prototype
- Experience with website optimization
- UI/UX best practices
- A passion for development and learning new things
- Great communication
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a popular entertainment media website (included collaboration with team members owning various other, similar websites)
- Perform development of company's application, platform, and infrastructure
- Assist in building the growth of the site, brand, and community
- Work on website optimization
- Architecting and implementing site features which will be used by millions of users per month
- Report to Head of Product and Technology and work closely with various teams in the organization
