    Job Overview

    Create and deliver business value at Cardinal Health by influencing and leading the charge of the machine leaning domain across business and technology teams. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals. Design and develop machine learning and deep learning solutions to maximize business value and effectiveness.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner end-to-end with business process owners, technical solution owners, engineers, and analysts to understand customer requirements and design prototypes and bring ideas to production.
    • Build re-usable machine learning models, frameworks, assets, industry solutions, reference architecture, design, development, and QA best practices.
    • Perform Data gathering, cleansing activities such as data cleaning, merging and enrichment etc.
    • Perform feature engineering through extracting meaningful features from measured and/or derived data.
    • Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses to get key insights.
    • Build Stochastic and Machine learning algorithms that potentially address business problems.
    • Collaborate with the data engineers and data scientists on model development to containerize and build out the deployment pipelines for new models.
    • Collaborate on MLOPS life cycle experience with MLOPS workflows traceability and versioning of datasets.
    • Ensure traceability and versioning of datasets, model evaluation pipelines.
    • Design, prototype, build and maintain APIs for consumption of machine learning models at scale.
    • Facilitate the development and deployment of POC machine learning systems.
    • Using standard methodologies framework to ensure data quality and reconciliation checks are in place and are transparent to everyone.
    • Build infrastructure and/or setup GCP services (like Cloud Functions) to support data integration between AI/ML solutions and other solutions.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related
    • 4+ years related experience.
    • Strong understanding of advanced data mining techniques, curating, processing, and transforming data to produce sound datasets.
    • Profound grasp of Machine Learning lifecycle - feature engineering, training, validation, scaling, deployment, scoring, monitoring, and feedback loop.
    • Experience in Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning including Classification, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Pattern Detection, Text Mining, using variety of techniques such as Decision trees, Time Series Analysis, Bagging and Boosting algorithms, Neural Networks, Deep Learning and Natural Language processing (NLP).
    • Fluency in Python, including standard scientific computing libraries.
    • Experience with PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks
    • Have implemented machine learning projects from initiation through completion with particular focus on automated deployment and ensuring optimized performance.
    • Working experience with GCP services (GCE, GKE)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong technical communication skills
    • Agile skills and experience
    • Experience in Healthcare (esp. US) industry is a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and organization skill
