    Double Nines is looking for a Senior Ruby Developer

    Double Nines works with our clients to conceive, plan, create and deliver modern digital products and platforms for evolving businesses. We are creative in our approach to all challenges and are looking for intelligent, motivated, and engaging people to join and help lead our team.

    We are looking for a full-time Senior Ruby Developer to help develop new features and functionality for a live… Product and Platform. Experience with required or related frameworks are encouraged to apply. The team is working to evolve a growing platform on AWS, adding new features and capabilities each sprint.

    We use Vue in the frontend, and Ruby to power the different backend applications. Engineers have the ability to own new features from the roadmap, partnering with Software Architects, Tech Leads, Delivery Managers, Product Designers, and Managers.

    What you will do

    Develop new Platform features for evolving products and platforms

    Estimate work in support of sprint and release planning

    Ensure on-time and high-quality product delivery

    Develop and execute unit tests and support functional, and manual testing

    Prepare and release platform changes through non-production and production environments

    Support new products through the full development & deployment lifecycle

    Requirements

    Computer Science degree or Equivalent

    8+ years of experience as a developer

    3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails

    Fullstack knowledge is beneficial, as this position will work to power robust frontend Web and Native Applications

    Specific AWS experience and CI/CD experience is beneficial

    Strong written and oral English skills are required, as communication and documentation are important for our blended teams to partner effectively with our clients. Remote workers based within 1 hr of the East Coast US Time Zone are eligible for these positions. Start date is immediate, please no recruiters or agencies
