We are based in Dallas, TX. However, we are open to considering a remote office for a qualified candidate who can travel periodically to Dallas (when safe to do so).
How you will make an impact:
- You will implement new RESTful API endpoints, make changes to existing high-volume endpoints, and build new microservices using .NET Core and core technologies in AWS.
- You will also write unit and integration tests to verify these endpoints.
- Along the way you will confront scalability challenges, navigate distributed systems, and apply best practices.
We could be a match if:
- 4+ years of real-world development experience.
- Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to creatively solve problems, sometimes with little supervision or hand-holding.
- Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.
- Proficient in Microsoft stack (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core) but 100% deployed via docker on Linux (alpine or similar).
- Knowledgeable in AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experienced in writing testable code.
- Public and/or private APIs (RESTful).
- High volume, high-transaction app development a plus.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
