    Your Impact:

    Have working knowledge in network or computer operations, functions and able to troubleshoot computer systems software and hardware. Able to solve computer problems with little to no supervision. Able to administer, configure, and operate computers systems and network in closed network environment. Able to travel to TDY locations 25% of the time.

    Employee will be responsible for the setup, configuration and administration of servers and user level computers in specialized closed networks.
    Administration will be primarily but not limited to Windows based. Employee may work with a team and be responsible for packaging network components for shipment or travel to TDY locations. Employee may also be responsible for equipment setup at TDY location, maintaining equipment inventory, teardown and repackaging for shipment back to home station.

    Required Education, Training, and Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

    Additional Skills desired are: Security +; DCGS-A experience; Military experience (35T preferred); Test experience, Elastic Stack or some Java experience.

    Physical Requirements

    Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.

    Work Environment:

    Primary work location will be office based but may include some work at remote sites and field work.

    Equipment and Machines:

    Computer network equipment, general office.

    Attendance:

    Adherence to attendance policy is mandatory. Regular hours will be 40 hours/week Monday – Friday with every other Friday off. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance is required. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to special situations based on critical mission requirements. Position may require occasional weekend or evening work depending on task requirements.

    Other Essential Functions

    Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer’s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

    CTLC Requirements:

    Familiar with engineering principles in Electrical or Electronics, Computer, Systems Engineering, RF, software and/or Network. Ability to design, develop, and test electronic systems, components, or circuits for use within equipment or machinery. Ability to use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of engineering to accomplish goals.
