Job Description: (MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY EXP REQUIRED)
You will be the lead project manager for projects and be accountable for ensuring key metrics on these projects are met. You will be also driving adoption of the Agile methodology throughout the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The overarching responsibility of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring the cross-functional team is energized, motivated to deliver on the outcome and owns the outcome. You will be responsible for ensuring the project meets/exceeds agreed upon metrics related to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
You will own the operational model of the team which will be based on the Agile methodology. You will be responsible for the cross-functional team that takes an idea from ideation to commercial launch. The cross-functional team will include team members from the various functions including marketing, engineering, quality, regulatory, IT, manufacturing and product support. You will be responsible for managing the partners that are part of the project and ensure they are meeting their agreed upon metrics. You will balance project execution with ensuring the team is motivated and passionate about meeting the project outcome. You will present status of the project s to executive management and other stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner. You will identify, monitor and mitigate risks both project and technical during the life of the project. Travel Requirements:
10 or more years of product development experience in a regulated space and preferably in the medical device area. Proven experience with leveraging partners and internal teams to deliver on project outcome. 3+ years experience in managing product development in an agile fashion.
Devops and collaborative tools such as Confluence and Slack/Teams. Has been a product development engineer early in their career and has been a contributor to complex successful regulated products. Proven expertise in working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where the teams are multi-disciplinary. Thrives under pressure. Has a healthy risk appetite to ensure we continue to deliver innovative and pioneering solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has executive presence. Has the ability to simplify complex situations so that the team is not overwhelmed. Has a positive can-do-attitude and inculcates the same among other team members. Has proven ability to work with geographically distributed teams and can work with teams with diverse background and experience.
Bachelor s degree Experience in building medical products.
