Description Job Description:Leidos Veterans Health is seeking a Senior MUMPS Developer to support patching the VA's VistA Electronic Healthcare Record. The Senior MUMPS Developer will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting… managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Provide technical support to the sites which have installed the CSS VistA patches.Manage the distribution of VistA patches to sites as needed using the VA's Kernel KIDS package.Conduct analysis, code development, and unit testing for VistA patches.Work with the software quality assurance group (SQA) in the formulation of test plans and scripts and provide technical support as needed.Ensure user and technical manuals pertaining to the VistA patches are kept up to date.Update patch descriptions in the national software repository known as Forum.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED-REQUIRED SKILLS:BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with the VA's VistA SoftwareHOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD-DESIRED SKILLS:Experience with Cerner Centralized Scheduling Solution (CSS)Experience working on programs and projects for the Department of Veteran AffairsExperience supporting healthcare information technology projectsExperience supporting information technology projects for Veterans Affairs agencyExperience or strong familiarity with Electronic Health Record implementation, VA Stakeholders and supporting applicationsExperience with Scrum MethodologyExperience with Java, JSON, and/or FHIRCurrent/Active VA background investigation/VA Access is a plus"External Referral Eligible"Pay Range:Pay Range $71,500.00 - $110,000.00 - $148,500.00#Remote
