ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Collaborate with developers, product managers and others to iterate on the design and implementation of software solutions
• Coordinate with developers and members of other teams when necessary
• Assist in the development of software that will be installed and managed on numerous customer devices
• Review code and identify areas of improvement for future consideration
• Keep up with emerging technologies and how they may be utilized
• Work with modern libraries and tooling

ABOUT YOU:

• 5+ years of experience developing software using GO and JavaScript
• Experience writing, creating and maintaining chrome based browser extensions
• Experience with Chrome Browser V3 manifest
• Strong skillset writing performant, scalable software solutions processing a high volume of requests
• Solid understanding of goroutines and the use of mutexes to synchronize data access
• Experience using contexts, managing timeouts, and cancelling long-running tasks for maximum efficiency
• Strong debugging skills and bug tracking in complex code
• Ability to analyze log files and pinpoint issues in the software running at remote customer sites
• Ability to provide effective solutions to problems in a timely manner for quick turnaround
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• General understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Experience working with TCP and UDP client and server sockets and network programming
• Experience interacting with REST APIs and exchanging data in JSON format
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverable and ability to work under pressure
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure
• Experience using other languages a plus
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment
