    Python - APIs using Python / Server Side Python

    Heavy API – writing services, APIS, building an app - Fast APIs is preferred, will consider Django, Flask, etc.

    Need to understand how to develop on AWS, understands GIT, CICD

    Everything they are doing is in PostgreSQL but any RDBMS is fine

    NoSQL database experience like Cassandra, Dynamo, Caspio DB, document storage

    Data pipelines, awareness of models

    Experience working with Data Scientists or on AI or ML projects would be a bonus but not required – this is a good positions for someone wanting to get into ML but they don’t have to.

    Must be comfortable wearing many hats.

    What they will be working on – New Development for the whole software system (the interface for the customers). The customers heavily interact with data they pull. Adding features, tweaking it per customers request.

    They work with massive amounts of data - 400 Petabytes!

    This position will be heavy front end development in ReactJS and heavy backend development in Python

    Company is at about 20 employees right now – 17 are technical engineers with full autonomy. There are no Bas, testers, etc.

    This team has over 250 years of experience on the team now between 17 people.

    Other tools the team touches: CI/CD, ARGO workflow, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Fast API, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, GitLab, Kustomize, Shell scripting, Anaconda, Spatial Database, PostGIS
