Northwest Partners is seeking a React UI Front End Developer for a 9-week contract position to work in a hybrid environment in the DC/MD/VA area. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time.
About The Role…
This position will be responsible for producing quality frontend code in line with specifications. Candidates have an opportunity to join a well-rounded team of experienced technology professionals working with cutting edge technologies to develop solutions satisfying one of our more dynamic, demanding business lines. The position requires extremely solid technical proficiency in a common technology framework, consisting of React and Angular.js. The critical path to success is to write code that accesses multiple APIs/services/microservices that runs with extremely low latency and can retrieve and store data as structured and/or non-structured objects.
The Ideal Candidate Brings
- 3+ years of programming experience in React.
- Extensive knowledge in: React.js, Typescript, JSON, JavaScript including the JavaScript object model, CSS, UI UX design and development, Agile delivery
- Experience with web application development.
- Experience with popular React.js and React native
- Experience with git and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts.
- A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
- A solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models.
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.
