    The C# Software/IT Interface Engineer will work directly with internal and external constituents focusing on collaborating and developing software solutions. They will author clean, scalable, modular, secure, well- structured, and testable code and follow patterns and develop reusable components and libraries. The Software Engineer will clearly communicate roadblocks, and timelines to key stakeholders in a timely manner.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Makes rapid improvements to our enterprise applications across mobile, web, backend platform, and integrations
    • Implements cross-functional application design strategy, architecture, and platforms to ensure solutions are optimized for flexibility, scalability, security, and performance
    • Adheres to well established standards,
    • Actively participates in issue resolution by removing barriers
    • Develops actual working solutions and resolves any issues that arise
    • Provides technical expertise in development, and programming
    • Maintains and fosters a collaborative environment by, removing roadblocks, and sharing unique and creative solutions
    • Works directly with internal and external stakeholders for the products/projects
    • Collaborates with team members to determine requirements for software
    • Troubleshoots coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
    • Mentors and provides general design guidance for product development
    • Assists with determining how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the
    • needs of users
    • Analyzes and documents client business requirements, as well as processes and communicates requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models
    • Provides data exchange interface troubleshooting support for systems
    • Writes and maintains accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team
    • Documents and creates system specifications from user requirements
    • Ability to visualize and work through complex solutions. Ability to code in C# complex solutions in a methodical way.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems
    • C# software development experience
    • Software design using EDI, EDI Interface Tools (Mirth connect, CorePoint, BizTalk, Azure Logic apps, FHIR Rest API, CCDA, EDIDev, EdiFabric a plus
    • Healthcare transactions such as 834 Eligibility, 837 claims, 270/271 Eligibility, Request/Response, HIMSS 276/277 Claims Status/Response a plus
