    Sock Club is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Ruby On Rails)

    Sock Club is seeking a Software Developer to work on our Development team to build features and tools that contribute to our B2B client portal. They will be working with a number of existing and new products that make up the software ecosystem for our organization.

    Major Responsibilities, Activities and Tasks:

    Development:

    • Develop website layout by using standard Ruby on Rails practices and specifications from design and marketing teams.
    • Integrate various back-end services and databases.
    • Monitor network conditions and troubleshoot service disruptions for application.
    • Support, recommend, maintain, and enhance the user interface of internal and external web platforms/products.
    • Experience working in Ruby on Rails is highly preferred
    • Develop new software and interfaces to support/automate lead generation, order management, and sock design.
    • Enthusiastically take on new projects that help propel the company forward, and help to develop the specifications of that project.

    General being a team member of Sock Club requirements:

    • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to gather specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs.
    • Gain a strong understanding of the user experience, workflow and customer needs.

    Qualifications & languages

    • Ruby - required
    • Javascript
    • React, next.js
    • HTML/CSS
    • Python
    • Experience with Web API’s, REST, JSON
    • Experience designing and working with relational database systems (preferably PostgreSQL)
    • Understand best practices with Responsive design and Browser support.
    • Experience with Git or other version control software.
    • WebGL/ three.js
    • Sidekiq
    • NginX
