Data Scientist III
Job Description:
Conducts statistical data analyses and develops relevant programs. Write statistical programming code for software such as SAS, R, Stata and participate in interpretation of results.
Develop analytical data sets including data duration, linkages, validations and cohort discovery.
Contributes to the design, implementation and reporting for research projects and to meet funder reporting requirements.
Expected Salary:
$85,000 - $95,000
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and five years of experience; Master's Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and three years of experience; Doctoral Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research experience strongly preferred. Technical writing ability, and in-depth knowledge of MS Office strongly preferred. Data analysis experience, and experience with medical claims data is a plus. Proficient in query languages, in particular Structure Query Language (SQL) in SAS programming, and relevant statistical procedures.
